The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) serves nearly 30 million children every school day. President John F. Kennedy created National School Lunch Week (NSLW) in 1962 to promote the importance of a healthy school lunch in a child’s life and the impact it has inside and outside of the classroom. October 12-16 is NSLW so remember to thank our food service personnel!

Mrs. Rignell’s class volunteered to make some rags for Mr. Hartenbower’s Wood Shop Class for a staining project that they are working on. We cut, measured, and found the area of our rags. We got to use a calculator since the numbers are much bigger than our basic facts!
