The Gym is going up fast! It will be wonderful to have the space that it will provide!
Congratulations to Riley County High School's Student of the Month for October, Christina Beard! Christina, 12th Grade, carries a 3.43 Cumulative GPA with a 4.0 Current GPA. Christina recently qualified for State Cross Country in Wamego (10-31) after placing 8th at Regionals. In addition to Cross Country, Christina also competes in Track along with being a member of Art Club and Pep Club.
Construction continues on both sides of the grade school capping or pouring the floor on top of the basement and on the north the framework for the gym is going up fast.
The beams for the frame work of the north gym are being put in place.
Our cooks at the grade school took part in celebrating Spirit Week Monday wearing their crazy socks!

Bi-District Football Game at RCHS on October 30th- normal gate, mask, and social distancing procedures we have done all season at Hal Prichard Stadium.
State Cross Country at Wamego on October 31st- limited spectators, 4 per participant, and spectators must have a wristband.
Possible Regional Football Playoff Game at RCHS on November 6th- In the event that we win on October 30th, we will host on November 6th and will be selling KSHSAA playoff tickets online. Ticket sale links will be sent to parents on Monday, November 2nd and will be open to the public on Wednesday, November 4th. Ticket link information can be found on our school social media sites beginning next week.
Congratulations to Christina Beard and Hailey Sharp for qualifying for State Cross Country. Christina finished 8th and Hailey 10th at regionals. They will compete this Saturday in Wamego at the 3A state meet. KSHSAA is limiting spectators to 4 per participant and wristbands are required for entry. Start time for 3A girls is 12:35. Congratulations girls and good luck!!
Congratulations to our football team and coaches!! District Champions! This is our third district football championship in a row. Playoffs start next Friday as we host Smoky Valley. Go Falcons! Since this is KSHSAA sponsored event we will have capacity limits.
