Congratulations to the RCHS Student of the Month for November, Harper Befort. Harper, 10th Grade, has a cumulative GPA of 4.0 and is currently a member of Key Club, SADD, FCA, and Pep Club. She is a member of the volleyball and softball team. Go Falcons!

Congratulations to the Riley County Chess Team for their 3rd place finish in Lawrence today. Individually Sam Frese got 21st place, Dawson Yoder 18th place, and Brett Laurie 8th place. Way to go Falcons!


RCHS FFA and Key Club sponsored the annual Barn Dance Friday evening in the Ag shop. Students had a great time dancing and socializing. Go Falcons!

The Riley County FFA Meats Judging team took 3rd place out of 19 teams. Hunter Sherman placed 5th, Easton Blair placed 17th, Karodie Wendland placed 19th, Trista Warnken placed 25th and Sierra McCabria placed 46th. Great job Falcons!

Nissa Olson and Brandi Gocken with the K-State Collegiate Cattlewomen presented a beef nutrition lesson to the Introduction to Agriculture classes at Riley County High School. They had an interactive lesson sharing how ruminant animals use different feed ingredients for their dietary needs.
