Our 8th grade girls took 3rd place today in the Silver Lake tournament! 7th took 4th on their side of the bracket, 8 teams from 6a to 2a in competition today. Nice work Falcons!
RCHS Cross Country ran at Rim Rock today! With 241 girl runners and 291 boy runners in the Crimson Division, top placers were: Anna 44th, Meredith 68th, Belle 170th, Owen 45th, Cody 122nd, and Jeter 164th! The Falcons will run on Thursday at Council Grove at 4pm!
Varsity Volleyball competed at Wamego today. The Falcons went 0-4 on the day and will travel to Silver Lake on Tuesday to take on the Eagles!
RCHS Football hosted Royal Valley tonight. The Falcons won 20-13!
RCHS FFA members made projects to be displayed at the Kansas State Fair. The Chapter had 8 members earn a state placing!
The Leadership Class focused on communication skills this week during Flex Time. Students and staff are exploring a wide variety of topics during our new Flex Schedule!
RCHS Volleyball hosted Wabaunsee tonight. Varsity went 0-2 on the night and JV 2-0. Varsity will play this Saturday at Wamego!
JV Football traveled to Rock Creek tonight. The Mustangs beat the Falcons 51-0. JV will play at Royal Valley next Monday at 5:30!
The FFA Officer Team attended the State Fair to help work the FFA barn!Members helped take care of the Grand Drive animals, as well as running educational stations such as the trivia wheel. Students had a blast and enjoyed serving the community!

Our 3rd graders were treated to a presentation from Mindy Allen of Mindy's Murals on her mural work across the nation. Our 3rd graders will be heading to Clay Center next week to see some of her work, and others done in town. Thank you for visiting with our students!

It was a great day to be at the Kansas State Fair! Your Marching Falcons earned a 1+ rating for their parade marching and a 1 rating for arena performance. Come hear their field show, Pirates of the Caribbean, this Friday during Halftime at the home football game!
