October 23-31 is National Red Ribbon Week. The theme this year is "Celebrate Life. Live Drug Free." which is a reminder that everyday Americans across the country make significant daily contributions to their communities by being the best they can be because they live Drug-Free!
RCGS is celebrating by having a Spirit Week from October 24-28 sponsored by MS Student Council. The following spirit days were chosen by Student Council members:
Monday - TWINS win against drugs: Dress alike with a friend (can be more than 2 people)
Tuesday - Follow your DREAMS and be drug free: pajama day
Wednesday - Drugs are a thing of the PAST: dress as your favorite decade (50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s)
Thursday - Use your HEAD and stay drug free: wear your favorite hat to school
Friday - TEAM up against drugs: wear Riley County Falcons clothes to show we are united in the fight.
Students/staff are encouraged to participate to Celebrate Life and Live Drug Free!
