October 3 - October 7 is Anti-Bullying Spirit Week at RCGS!
October is National Bullying Prevention Month - a month long event to prevent childhood bullying and promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.
Monday was 'Kick-off anti-bullying month' with wearing crazy socks! We saw a lot of awesome socks displayed by both kids and staff.
Tuesday is 'Pledge to stop bullying' by wearing red, white, and blue.
Wednesday is wear orange to promote unity. PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center decided to use orange as their representation color for unity day because it is a color described as warm and inviting and is associated with safety and visibility.
Thursday is 'Team up against bullying' - wear your favorite team gear! That could be Falcons, Chiefs, Wildcats, Jayhawks...the possibilities are endless!
Friday is '"Lei" off bullying' with a Hawaiian day!
